A Little About Us.

Epsom Radio Flying Club is one of the UK’s oldest model aircraft clubs. Started in 1968 on Epsom Downs, the Club has since migrated south to its current location on the border between Surrey and Sussex.

We are a friendly bunch who love our sport and enjoy getting together on a Sunday down at our flying field for a good days flying and a chat with friends, even the occasional BBQ weather permitting.

We are mainly fixed wing flyers although the odd Helicopter or quad has been flown from our field. If you are a multi rotor flyer please talk to us as we are always open to try and accommodate all aspects of our sport.

If this sounds like your sort of thing and you would like to join us please use the contact form in the contact us section and drop us a line. Experienced pilots and novices are all welcome.

WORK SHOP CHALLENGE from Perma Grit - FINISHES January 15th 2018. Right guys & gals. I know who this workshop belongs too, and it certainly isn’t Ian’s! I also know he’s not just spruced it up for a photo shoot - so here is the challenge. I challenge you Perma-Grit users out there, to open your workshop door and take an honest picture - WITHOUT TIDYING! The winner will receive a useful Perma Grit prize and be pinned to the top of our Facebook page (until you’re all bored with it). I hope this gets a bit of a response or it’s going to be embarrassing. WAKEY, WAKEY - Obviously, you need some encouragement. OK a prize for the BEST of the BEST and a prize for the WORST of the WORST! So come on, wife's, girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands. I have been banned from tidying Ian's workshop - far too many important little things (which make a wonderful tinkling noise) have gone up the hoover! I will show you his, if you will show me theirs!
